Women Travel Conferences: where are they?
Women Travel Conferences are growing around the globe every day. Here’s a short list of the ones that empower and inspire women to take on the world – together.
Women in Travel Summit or WITS:
WITS is a premier event for women travel influencers, creators, and brands led by Wanderful. Their goal is to provide women with the tools, connections, and resources they need to become better travel bloggers and influencers.
They also partner with notable travel brands that help attendees enhance their digital presence and meet their business goals. This conference also aims to grow the global sisterhood of dedicated women who travel.
They want to empower, encourage, and support women to learn new skills and find their voice in the online travel world. 2017’s WITS will be held on April 21-23rd in Milwaukee, WI – the cheese state. Get tickets now if you haven’t already!
Women’s Travel Fest or WTF is a women travel conference aimed to inspire, empower and celebrate travel. Travel is different for women and this conference emphasizes how important it is for women to get out and live their dreams. Life is too short to do nothing else.
This conference allows you to build personal and professional networks to travel alone, with other women, or build a business based on travel.
Kelly Lewis is the founder of the Women’s Travel Fest. She’s also the founder of Go! Girl Guides, which publishes the world’s first series of travel guidebooks for women – which you can purchase at the festival. She loves to travel and lives to help other women experience the world.
The next Women’s Travel Fest is taking place in New Orleans from March 3-5th, 2017.
7in7 – A digital nomad conference
Digital nomads, location independent workers, freelancers, entrepreneurs, and travel lovers created 7in7 – a digital nomad conference. It’s a wonderful conference bringing creative minds together to work and live all around the world. 2016’s conference took place in Bangkok and the attendees were 85% women! That’s super exciting considering in the digital nomad, women consist of 1/4 of the general demographics. Look out for 2017’s conference held in Europe!
Are there any other women travel conferences I’m missing? Send me a conference at firstname.lastname@example.org and I’ll add it to the list.
